SAVE THE MUSIC!
Help Save The Music At The Clear Mountain Food Park!
If you live in the Williamsburg Township area of Clermont County in Batavia, Ohio you may have heard about the recent lawsuit filing against the Clear Mountain Food Park in effort to stop the live music and amplified performances that so many of you have come to enjoy at the Clear Mountain Food Park on the weekends.
Our live music concert series is scheduled every Friday & Saturday evening from 7-10 pm weather permitting. Almost all of our entertainers are local bands and performance groups. There have been a handful of residents that live near the Clear Mountain Food Park that have continually field complaints against our venue citing that the noise levels are too loud.
For those of you that have ever visited the Clear Mountain Food Park and enjoyed our outdoor concert series, you know that the noise levels are not that loud and that you can sit at your table while dining from many of our local food vendors and comfortably carry on a conversation without the need to increase your normal voice inflection.
The decibel levels at our property lines in all directions have often been recorded at 67 decibels or lower making the sound from our stage less than that of a running lawn mower.

The Council Members and prosecuting attorney in Williamsburg Township have filed a suit against the Clear Mountain Food Park and its owner in an effort to cancel any amplified music from being help outdoors at the Clear Mountain Food Park. We intend to fight this suit and to come up with a resolution that works for our neighbors as well as Township officials but we need your help to do so.

As we all know, attorney's cost a lot of money and without the element of amplified "live music" performances at our venue, patronage of our venue has decreased dramatically. We intend to fight this lawsuit in court and we need your help to raise the funds needed to defend our venue and to save the music aspect of our business model. Together, we can help save the music at the park and bring back our outdoor concert series even if it means adjusting the performances to an amplified acoustic format.
Please consider making a small donation of $5, $10, $20 or whatever your financial situation may permit.
If all of our Mountaineers make a small contribution, we can defend the Clear Mountain Food Park music and hopefully retain the right to continue to bring you our outdoor concert series.
